DOUG ELKS IS A SPEAKER, PODCAST HOST, ENTREPRENEUR, AND HYBRID ATHLETE.
He formerly played D1 college basketball where he served as a team captain and double majored in business management and marketing. Doug has a passion for sharing faith based messages that present the good news of the Gospel and lead people to Jesus.
His podcast is a resource to help people grow in their faith and be encouraged in their walk with Jesus.
DOUG HAS A POWERFUL STORY OF NAVIGATING VERY CHALLENGING TIMES WITH A POSITIVE OUTLOOK AND STRONG FAITH
He owns a faith based apparel business called SEEK FIRST in reference to Matthew 6:33 where they manufacture evangelistic clothing with gospel messaging. Doug also is the president of AIM MISSIONS, a nonprofit men’s ministry with the goal of serving men to share the Gospel, make disciples, and advance the Kingdom.
Outside of professional endeavors, Doug enjoys challenging fitness feats that allow him to grow in his faith and relationship with Jesus.
DOUG'S TRUE PURPOSE IS TO BE MAN OF SERVICE
After college basketball Doug started his running journey and has completed half marathons, marathons, a 50 mile trail race, and a 100 miler. He views these hard physical feats as opportunities to worship God and glorify His name through the suffering.
He is currently training for a 100 mile race where he was run wearing a 20 lb weighted vest to bring awareness to mental health and the harmful “weight” we carry that we need to surrender to Jesus.
